In the third quarter of 2024, the gaming app landscape in Cyprus saw notable trends across both iOS and Android platforms. According to Sensor Tower data, here’s a look at how the top five games performed during this period.
Coin Master from Moon Active experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, starting with approximately $48K at the beginning of July and then dipping to around $16K mid-July. The revenue gradually stabilized, reaching about $24K by the end of September. Weekly downloads for this game remained relatively stable, hovering around the 400 mark throughout the quarter.
Candy Crush Saga by King showed a steady climb in weekly revenue, beginning at roughly $8.4K and closing the quarter at approximately $8.4K as well. Its weekly downloads started at 726 and saw some fluctuations, peaking at 978 in late July before declining to 522 by the end of September.
Roblox from Roblox Corporation demonstrated a dynamic revenue pattern, with a notable increase to $13.3K in late August from an initial $9.9K in early July. The number of weekly downloads showed some decline, starting at 2K and reducing to just under 1.7K by the end of the quarter.
Supercell’s Brawl Stars had a varied revenue trajectory. It started at approximately $13.4K, dropped to $6.1K in mid-August, and then rebounded to $13.3K by the end of September. The weekly downloads mirrored this volatility, starting at 1.8K and seeing a drop to 1.3K mid-quarter before slightly recovering to 1.4K at the quarter's close.
Finally, Royal Match from Dream Games saw a consistent increase in revenue, starting at $6.9K and peaking at $7.2K in early September before settling at $6.6K. Its downloads began at 1K and peaked at 1.9K in mid-August, ending the quarter with a count of 1.7K.
