During the third quarter of 2024, the top Health and Fitness apps in the Dominican Republic showed varied performance trends on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.
WalkWork from Smark Clark saw an initial high in weekly downloads, starting at 33.2K in early July, but experienced a gradual decline, concluding the quarter at around 2.1K. Its weekly active users mirrored this trend, beginning at 63.8K and decreasing to just 3.4K by the end of September.
Flo Period & Pregnancy Tracker by Flo Health Inc. maintained a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $4.6K in early September. Downloads fluctuated slightly but remained between 5.3K and 8.7K. The app's active users showed a slight increase, reaching a peak of 220.9K mid-September before settling at 206.8K.
Health Sense: Blood Sugar Hub, a newer entry by Health Applines, witnessed a sharp rise in weekly downloads, climbing from negligible numbers to 43.6K by the end of September. Active users also increased significantly, from 342 in mid-August to 48.4K by the quarter's end.
Health Sense: Pulse & BP, also by Health Applines, experienced varied download figures, with a peak at 19.4K in late July. Active users reflected similar volatility, peaking at 21.3K towards the end of July and finishing the quarter at 7.6K.
Finally, Sweatcoin・Walking Step Counter by Sweatco Ltd showed consistent weekly revenue, maintaining around $30 to $150. Downloads steadily decreased from 6.3K to 1.2K, while active users remained stable throughout the quarter, ending slightly lower at 59.9K.
