In the third quarter of 2024, France's top health and fitness apps on a unified platform displayed diverse trends across downloads, active users, and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data.
Compte ameli, developed by l'Assurance Maladie, saw a progressive increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 63.8K in early July and reaching approximately 78.5K by the end of September. Meanwhile, active users fluctuated, peaking at about 411K in early September before ending the quarter with around 398K.
Mon espace santé, another offering from l'Assurance Maladie, experienced a similar upward trend in downloads, beginning at about 58.8K and climbing to 81.8K. Active users also grew, starting at 225K and ending the quarter at approximately 272K.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike from Strava, Inc. demonstrated strong revenue performance, with weekly earnings peaking at about $218.7K in mid-August. Downloads remained fairly steady, hovering around the 40K mark, while active users increased from approximately 1.2M to 1.4M over the quarter.
The carte Vitale app, published by GIE SESAM Vitale, saw its weekly downloads rise from around 31.1K to 55.4K, with active users growing from nearly 76K to 122K by the end of the quarter.
Finally, Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner by Yuca, recorded steady weekly revenue, peaking at $15.9K in mid-August. Downloads varied, starting at 35.3K and ending at 30.8K, while active users showed a slight dip, fluctuating between 685K and 793K.
