In the third quarter of 2024, the Idle RPG category in New Zealand saw some interesting movements among the top-performing applications on the unified platform. Here's a detailed look at the performance trends of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Slime Castle — Idle TD Game from Azur Interactive Games Limited demonstrated a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $832 in the last week of September. The game also experienced a gradual rise in weekly downloads, reaching 289 by the end of the quarter. Meanwhile, the number of weekly active users grew consistently, climbing from 524 to 662.
Legend of Mushroom by Joy Nice Games maintained a strong revenue stream, with a peak of around $7.2K in the penultimate week of September. However, downloads showed a declining trend, dropping from 226 in early July to 50 by the end of September. The active user base remained robust but saw a slight decrease from 9.7K to 8.8K.
Epic Stickman: RPG Idle War, launched by Fansipan Limited, saw a steady climb in weekly downloads, culminating at 404 in the final week of September. The app's revenue also increased gradually, with a high of $325 in early August. Active users peaked at 280 mid-quarter before declining to 182 by quarter's end.
Dinosaur Universe from Supercent, Inc. showed promising growth in weekly downloads, peaking at 428 shortly after its release in August. Revenue and active users also saw upward trends, with active users reaching 769 by mid-September.
Whirlwind Evolution by Solid Games experienced a spike in downloads in early September, reaching 638. Active users saw an increase as well, peaking at 549 around the same time. However, revenue remained minimal throughout the quarter.
