In the third quarter of 2024, the top insurance applications in Italy demonstrated varied performance trends, as captured by Sensor Tower's insights. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active user engagement.
Alleanza maintained a dynamic download pattern. Initial downloads were around 14K at the start of July, dipped mid-August to 4.2K, but saw a resurgence in September, peaking at 20.2K in the week of September 9.
Prima Assicurazioni showed a consistent download performance, starting at 13K in early July and climbing steadily to reach 13.6K by the end of September. The app also experienced a gradual increase in active users, beginning at 70.2K and reaching a high of 75.4K by the quarter's end.
UnipolSai - Assicurazioni saw a more fluctuating download trend, starting at 11K, decreasing through July, and then stabilizing around 8.8K by September end. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 17.3K and ending the quarter at 14.6K.
MyGenerali had a modest download growth, beginning at 8.4K and ending with a peak of 10.2K in late September. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 15.9K at the start of the quarter to 18.1K by the end.
Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni experienced a moderate download trajectory, starting at 6.1K, experiencing a dip, and then stabilizing at 5.4K by the end of September. Active user numbers were relatively stable, with a notable rise to 32.8K in mid-September before settling at 29.9K.
