Top Insurance Apps in the US: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the top five insurance applications in the United States exhibited varied performance trends on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Progressive saw an overall stable trend in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with approximately 175K and reaching around 189K by the end. Its weekly active user base demonstrated consistent growth, starting at 1.85M and peaking at over 2M towards the end of September.

State Farm® experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 82K and surging to about 111K by the quarter's end. The app's weekly active users also showed growth from approximately 598K to 681K.

UnitedHealthcare had an upward trend in weekly downloads, with numbers rising from 77K to around 112K. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from 261K to nearly 300K.

GEICO Mobile - Car Insurance maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 74K and ending the quarter at approximately 88K. The weekly active users showed a gradual increase, reaching about 939K by the end of September.

Finally, Drive Safe & Save® observed a steady rise in weekly downloads, from 47K to 61K. Its weekly active user base remained robust, fluctuating slightly but maintaining a strong presence with over 3.1M throughout the quarter.
