In the third quarter of 2024, the top mech games in the U.S. demonstrated varied performance patterns across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users on a unified platform. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends observed for each app.
Mech Arena - Shooting Game from Plarium Global Ltd saw a fluctuating revenue trend, starting at approximately $278K in early July and stabilizing around $241K by the end of September. Downloads peaked at 93.7K in the first week of July but generally showed a declining trend, settling at 20.3K in the last week of the quarter. Weekly active users began at 190.7K and decreased steadily to 141.5K.
Tear Them All: Robot fighting by Freeplay LLC maintained consistent download numbers, peaking at 32.1K in late July and tapering to 21.5K by the quarter's end. Revenue was minimal, with minor fluctuations and a peak of $86 in early September. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 183.4K to 172.7K over the quarter.
War Robots Multiplayer Battles by MY.GAMES B.V. experienced a robust revenue performance, peaking at $577K in mid-September, despite some fluctuations. Downloads varied, with a notable increase in late August reaching 33K, followed by a dip to 25.8K by the end of September. Weekly active users showcased resilience, starting at 204.3K and ending at 208.6K.
Mechangelion - Robot Fighting from MOONEE PUBLISHING LTD saw a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $4.6K by the end of the quarter. Downloads showed a positive trend, starting at 15.5K and climbing to 19.7K. Weekly active users remained strong, with a slight increase from 339.5K to 361.6K.
Lastly, Wing Fighter by MINIGAME ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED displayed a variable revenue trend, starting at $200K, peaking at $281K in late July, and ending at $177K. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 6.8K to 8.7K, while weekly active users slightly decreased from 33.9K to 32.6K.
