In the third quarter of 2024, the top music and audio apps in Turkey demonstrated varied performance metrics on a unified platform, as compiled by Sensor Tower. Here's a breakdown of their trends:
Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $38K by the end of September. Weekly downloads started strong with over 137K in early July but tapered off to about 115K by the end of the quarter. Meanwhile, weekly active users showed a positive trend, reaching nearly 9.5M by late September.
StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $16K in the last week of September. Downloads were highest at the start of the quarter with 54K and ended with just over 40K. The app's active users declined from 236K to about 195K over the three months.
Smule: Karaoke, Sing & Record maintained a stable weekly revenue, reaching a high of over $6.8K mid-September. Downloads showed a similar stability, hitting a peak of 8.2K in early August. Active user numbers fluctuated, peaking at nearly 29.4K early in the quarter before settling around 20K.
Drum Pads - Beat Maker Go saw its highest weekly revenue in early July at approximately $2.8K. Downloads varied significantly, with a peak of 22K at the end of August. Active users rose to a high of 70K in late August before declining to about 33K by September's end.
LMR - Copyleft Music registered a stable weekly revenue, hovering around $1.7K. Downloads were robust, peaking at over 244K in mid-July. The app maintained a strong active user base, consistently exceeding 11M throughout the quarter.
