During the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications in El Salvador showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a robust presence with consistent download numbers, peaking at 11K in the week of August 19. Weekly active users remained steady, fluctuating slightly around the 190K mark throughout the quarter.

Google Maps experienced a moderate download trend, reaching a high of 3.2K in mid-July. Active users showed stability, hovering around 134K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.

Google Earth saw a notable rise in downloads during mid-September, reaching approximately 2.5K. Active user engagement also increased, peaking at 16.2K during the same period.

Radar - Speed Camera Detector experienced a growth in downloads, with a peak of 1K in early August. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, increasing to 1.3K by mid-September.
