In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation applications in Russia showed varied performance on a unified platform, comprising both iOS and Android users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals interesting trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
Yandex Navi – navigation, maps saw a steady weekly revenue, peaking at around $9.3K in mid-July before gradually declining to approximately $7.8K by the end of September. Weekly downloads were robust at the beginning of the quarter, reaching over 141K but tapered off to around 106K by the quarter's end. Active users remained strong, starting at approximately 3.5M and slightly decreasing to just over 3M.
Антирадар HUD Speed Pro experienced a notable rise in weekly revenue in July, with a peak of $4.3K, which then dropped to about $1.4K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, beginning at around 11K and ending at approximately 6.4K. Active user numbers showed a similar trend, starting at 18.4K and decreasing to 15.4K by the quarter's close.
For Air Navigation Pro, revenue started at $2.8K and saw a decline, settling around $1.5K by September's end. Downloads followed a downward trajectory as well, from 1.3K to about 550.
Dap Drift PRO initially earned a revenue of $1.4K, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, closing at $1.2K. Downloads saw an increase mid-quarter, peaking at over 3K before dropping to 1.4K.
Yandex Maps & Navigator maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at nearly $1.9K at the end of September. Downloads began at 229K, decreasing to 151K by the quarter's end. Active users showed a strong presence, starting at 14.7M and slightly decreasing to around 15M.
