In the third quarter of 2024, the leading news and magazines applications in Qatar showed varied performance trends across downloads, active users, and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar from Dainik Bhaskar Group experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $16 in the final week of September. The app's downloads saw a gradual increase, starting at around 277K in July and reaching 322K by the end of September. Active users displayed a positive trend, growing from 4.6K to about 5.6K throughout the quarter.

Way2News Daily News App did not generate any revenue during the quarter. However, it maintained a stable user base with downloads starting at 216K and decreasing to 76K. Active users showed resilience, beginning at 11.2K and fluctuating slightly to end the quarter at 11.4K.

Dailyhunt Xpresso News Cricket also reported no revenue during this period but posted an upward trend in downloads, increasing from 106K at the start of July to 193K by the end of September. Its active user count rose from 79.7K to about 86.4K, indicating a strong audience engagement.

Shuru:Public News & Local News did not report any revenue as well. The app's downloads varied, beginning at 123K and decreasing to 80K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a modest increase from 1.4K to 1.6K, demonstrating stable engagement.

Finally, Google News - Daily Headlines didn't generate revenue during Q3 2024. Downloads were relatively stable, starting at 196K and ending at 113K. Active users displayed minor fluctuations, remaining around 1.4K to 1.5K throughout the quarter.
