In the third quarter of 2024, the top five personal finance budgeting and planning applications in Spain showed varied performance trends on the unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at their achievements:
Tricount - Split group bills demonstrated a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads peaking at around 55K in late July, before gradually decreasing to about 25K by the end of September. Weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching approximately $255 in mid-August, and ended the quarter at $225. Active users saw a rise to over 95K in late July, followed by a decline to about 77K by the end of September.
Splitwise maintained a steady weekly revenue stream, averaging around $800 to $900, with a peak of $963 at the end of September. Weekly downloads started at 15K in early July and decreased to about 8K by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers showed a consistent decline from 47K to approximately 40K.
Settle Up - Group Expenses experienced a stable revenue trend, peaking at $295 in early August. Downloads began at around 4K, decreasing to nearly 2.5K by the end of September. Active users peaked at 17.5K in late July and gradually declined to 13.5K.
Splid – Split group bills showed a consistent revenue pattern, averaging around $200 weekly. Downloads started at 2K, peaking at 3.4K in late July, then decreasing to around 1.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users began the quarter at 10K, peaking at 13K in late July, and concluded at approximately 11K.
Finally, Money manager, expense tracker saw an increase in weekly downloads, starting at just over 1K and reaching 2.6K by late August, ending the quarter at 2.2K. Revenue peaked at $266 in early September. Active users increased from 15.5K to 17.6K by the end of September.
