In the third quarter of 2024, Brazil's top shopping apps displayed varied performance trends on a unified platform, encompassing both iOS and Android data. According to Sensor Tower, these insights reveal significant fluctuations in weekly downloads and active user engagement.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire witnessed a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.8M and experiencing a dip to approximately 1.1M by the end of September. However, weekly active users showed a consistent upward trajectory, beginning at 3.2M and reaching over 10M by the quarter's close.
Shopee Brasil - Frete Zero maintained a stable download rate with minor fluctuations, peaking at roughly 730K in early August before tapering off to about 490K at the end of September. The app sustained a high level of weekly active users, starting at 32.4M and ending the quarter with approximately 34M users.
Mercado Libre: Compras Online saw a consistent download pattern, with a peak of around 721K in early September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 22M to 23M range, with a slight dip toward the end of the quarter.
SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a decline in downloads from about 837K at the beginning of July to 388K by the end of September. Active user numbers showed a similar trend, starting at 17.1M and slightly decreasing to 16.1M by the quarter's end.
Amazon Shopping had a notable spike in downloads, reaching over 1.1M in mid-July, before stabilizing to around 235K by September's conclusion. Weekly active users varied, initially rising to 6.2M and then stabilizing around 4.9M.
