State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the third quarter of 2024, Brazil saw notable trends in the performance of its top social apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Instagram maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 1.4M in early August. Its weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately $234K in early July. The app's active user base remained stable, hovering around 71M throughout the quarter.
Threads showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, particularly in early September, with numbers climbing to approximately 1.7M. The app also saw a consistent rise in weekly active users, starting the quarter at about 12M and finishing strong at over 23M by the end of September.
TikTok experienced a steady weekly revenue, touching a high of $260K in late August. Weekly downloads saw a gradual decline, from 893K in early July to about 739K by the end of September. However, its active user count remained robust, ending the quarter at approximately 68M.
Facebook continued to engage a large user base, with active users totaling around 82M by the quarter's end. The app's weekly downloads showed a slight decline, starting from 443K and dropping to 377K in late September. Revenue peaked at about $26K in the final weeks.
e-Título was a standout in terms of weekly downloads, surging to over 1.8M by the end of September. Active users also increased significantly, growing from 411K at the start of the quarter to over 12.5M by the end.
