In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five survival games on a unified platform in Sweden varied significantly. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps displayed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.
Raft® Survival - Ocean Nomad from Survival Games Ltd saw its weekly revenue decline from around $876 at the start of July to approximately $685 by the end of September. Downloads decreased from 1.9K to 572 over the quarter, while weekly active users also fell from 5.2K to 3.3K.
The Baby In Yellow by Team Terrible experienced a modest revenue increase, peaking at $30 in early September. Downloads saw a slight increase, with numbers reaching 741 in the beginning of September before settling at 546 by the end of the month. Active users fluctuated, initially rising to 3.4K in early September before ending the quarter at 2.8K.
Hello Neighbor, developed by tinyBuild LLC, showed a steady revenue growth, ending the quarter at $145. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 632 to 370. Active users declined from 2.7K in early July to 1.8K by the end of September.
Idle Breaker from Estoty achieved significant revenue growth, reaching a peak of $1.4K in late August before closing the quarter at $802. Downloads peaked at 542 in mid-August and then tapered off to 310. Active users increased from 619 to 870 over the quarter.
Finally, Hide in The Backroom: Nextbots by AI Games FZ maintained stable active user numbers, fluctuating slightly but remaining around 7K throughout the quarter. Downloads decreased from 496 to 179, with no recorded revenue during this period.
