During the third quarter of 2024, the top travel applications in the United Kingdom displayed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker showed a robust performance in terms of revenue, peaking at around $99K in mid-September. Downloads peaked mid-July with approximately 55K, but a downward trend followed, closing the quarter at about 34K. Active users saw a peak of approximately 378K in early August, before tapering off to around 283K by the end of September.
Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker experienced a peak in revenue at roughly $9.9K in mid-August. Downloads started strong at over 8K in early July but gradually declined to about 3.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 22K throughout the quarter.
Flighty – Live Flight Tracker saw a notable increase in revenue, reaching a peak of around $7.8K at the end of September. Downloads reached a high of approximately 5.4K in late July, with a gradual decline to about 3.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased from around 21K in early July to approximately 27K by the end of September.
Outdooractive showed a varied revenue performance, with a peak at approximately $13.6K in early July, and a subsequent decline to about $9.3K by the end of September. The app’s downloads surged to around 6.2K in early September, while active users nearly doubled from around 6K in early July to approximately 10.7K by mid-September.
Planes Live - Flight Tracker maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at about $3.9K in late August. Downloads began at around 2.1K in early July, with a slight downward trend ending at approximately 1.8K in late September. Active users started at roughly 7.6K, experiencing a slight decline to about 6.7K by the end of the quarter.
