2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Austria showed varied performance trends. Here's a detailed look at their weekly downloads and active user statistics, as reported by Sensor Tower.
George Österreich from Erste Bank und Sparkassen saw a fluctuating download trend, peaking at approximately 11.3K in early October before settling to around 4.7K by the end of December. Its active users hovered around 800K, with a slight dip to 698K in late December before rebounding to 739K.
Mein ELBA-App, published by Raiffeisen Österreich, recorded a peak in downloads at 5.5K in mid-November. Active users initially decreased from 892K to 773K but recovered to 905K by the end of the quarter.
Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade experienced a decline in downloads, starting at 3.7K and ending at 2K. Active users peaked at 114K in mid-November, followed by a decline to 86K by the end of December.
The BAWAG Banking App showed a steady download rate with minor fluctuations, peaking at 1.9K in early December. Active users remained mostly stable, slightly decreasing from 117K to 97K across the quarter.
Lastly, Bank Austria MobileBanking saw its downloads peak at 1K at the beginning of the quarter, eventually decreasing to 605 by the end. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 206K in mid-November before ending the quarter at 155K.
