In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on Android in Finland showcased intriguing trends. Here's a look at how the top apps fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald's experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from 2.2K at the beginning of October and peaking at nearly 4K in early December. The app's weekly active users fluctuated significantly, with numbers rising from 68.6K to over 107K in early December before settling around 72K by the end of the quarter.
Subway® saw a varied download pattern, beginning at 2.4K and hitting a high of 3K in mid-November. Active users steadily increased from 26K to a peak of 42.5K in early December, before tapering off to 28.7K at the quarter's close.
The Burger King Finland app, launched in November, showed a steady download rate, maintaining around 1.6K to 2.6K weekly. Active user numbers grew from 14.3K to nearly 25K by the end of December.
Hesburger downloads started at 1.6K, with a notable increase to 2.4K in late November. Active users saw consistent growth, peaking at 74K in late November before stabilizing around 66K by the end of the year.
Finally, Espresso House had a modest download range, fluctuating between 400 and 800 weekly. Despite lower downloads, active users climbed from 12.1K to a peak of 14.6K in mid-December.
