2026 State of Mobile is Live!

The fourth quarter of 2024 saw significant trends in the Food and Drink app category on Android in the Netherlands. According to data from Sensor Tower, several apps experienced notable changes in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
Vivino: Drink the Right Wine showed impressive growth. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $1K by the end of December, while downloads surged to 2.9K in the week of December 23. Active users also increased significantly, from around 17K to over 32K by the end of the quarter.
Gronda - For Chefs experienced a steady rise in revenue, reaching around $642 in the week of December 23. However, downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 29 and 44 per week, with active users peaking at 61 mid-December.
Sidekick by Sorted Food saw a significant spike in revenue towards the end of November, hitting $1.5K. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 81 in late November, but dropped back to 30 by year-end.
Pick Up Limes showed an upward trend in revenue, peaking at $1K in early December. Active users remained consistent throughout, reaching a high of 140 in late November.
Finally, Untappd: Find Beer You'll Love saw a gradual increase in revenue, culminating in $825 by the end of December. Downloads also rose, reaching 482 in the week of December 23, with active users climbing from around 14K to over 17K by the quarter's end.
