In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of food delivery applications on the Android platform in Mexico showed diverse trends. Here’s a closer look at the top apps, with data provided by Sensor Tower.
Vivino: Drink the Right Wine experienced a notable surge in its weekly downloads, especially towards the end of the quarter. Starting at 346 downloads in early October, it peaked at 970 in the week of December 23. Revenue for this app also saw a significant uptick, reaching approximately $496 by the same week. Active users increased steadily from 5.9K to 7.1K throughout the quarter.
Jow - easy recipes & groceries showed modest growth in downloads, climbing from 3 to 25 by the end of December. The revenue trend was relatively stable, hovering around $46 to $73. The app's active user base also grew from 28 to 60.
Fussy Vegan Pro had limited download activity, with only a few instances of new downloads recorded. Revenue varied slightly, peaking at $23 in mid-November before stabilizing around $10.
Speedy Delivery: Buy & Sell focused on revenue generation, which showed an upward trend from $26 in late November to $37 by the end of December, despite no new downloads being recorded during the quarter.
Lastly, Gito saw fluctuations in revenue, with a notable increase to $39 in mid-December, although download numbers remained stagnant.
