In the fourth quarter of 2024, the MMORPG category on Android in Europe showed dynamic trends across several top-performing applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games experienced varying patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
Diablo Immortal from Blizzard Entertainment maintained a robust presence with weekly revenue peaking at around $213K in mid-December. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 15.3K in the week of December 23. Active users increased steadily, climbing from 40.7K at the start of the quarter to 66.3K by its end.
Flame of Valhalla Global showed a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting at $155K and ending at approximately $87.4K. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, beginning at 25.4K and tapering off to 8.8K. However, active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 44.6K by the quarter's end.
Wartune Ultra saw a significant surge in revenue, peaking at $100.6K in late November. Downloads dropped sharply from 41.8K to 6.8K over the quarter, while active users decreased from 27K to 11.5K.
The Legend of Neverland experienced a consistent rise in weekly revenue, reaching $65.6K by December 23. Downloads increased notably, with a peak of 51.9K in early December. Active users also grew, peaking at 104.2K mid-December before ending the quarter at 92.4K.
MU: Dark Epoch exhibited stable revenue trends, with a moderate peak of $55.7K in late November. Downloads varied, ending with a rise to 15.7K in the last week of December. Active users showed an upward trend, reaching 49.5K by the end of the quarter.
