The fourth quarter of 2024 saw significant activity in the dating app scene on iOS in the United States. Here's a look at how the top five apps performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat from Tinder LLC experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $10.7M in late December. Downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 114K and ending at 120K, while weekly active users hovered around 5.8M by the end of the quarter.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Meet from Hinge, Inc. saw its revenue rise steadily, reaching around $7M in the final week. Downloads showed a slight increase, closing the quarter at 109K, with active users fluctuating slightly but ending at 3.2M.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative presented by Bad Kitty's Dad, reported modest revenue figures, with a peak of about $93K in late November. Downloads surged to 119K by the end of December, and active users increased significantly, reaching nearly 478K.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date from Bumble Holding Limited had a notable quarter, with revenue peaking at $6.2M. Downloads increased to 84K by the end of the quarter, while active users saw a slight dip, ending at 2.4M.
Finally, Duet Dating App: Chat & Meet by WINK TECH LIMITED showed remarkable growth. Revenue climbed to $180K in December, and downloads reached 116K. Active users more than doubled, ending the quarter at 315K.
