In the fourth quarter of 2024, the fast food and fast casual restaurant app landscape in Guatemala showed varied performance on the iOS platform. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on their weekly downloads and active user metrics.
McDonald's Express saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at about 2.4K and peaking at 2.8K in early October, before settling around 2.1K by the end of December. The app maintained a solid base of weekly active users, beginning at 42.5K and witnessing a gradual decline to 33.8K by the quarter's end.
Starbucks Guatemala experienced growth in downloads from 565 in mid-October to over 1.1K by late December. Active users climbed steadily, starting at 468 and reaching over 2.3K by the end of the quarter.
Taco Bell Guatemala displayed a significant increase in downloads, particularly noticeable in early December, where downloads surged from 468 to over 2K. Active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at 739 and climbing to nearly 2.9K by the end of the quarter.
Pollo Campero Guatemala had a consistent download pattern, with numbers ranging from 713 to over 1K by the end of December.
Finally, Domino's Pizza América Latina maintained a steady download rate, beginning at 871 and fluctuating slightly to 854 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed some variability, starting at 7.7K and ending at 6.4K.
