In the fourth quarter of 2024, the food delivery app landscape in Italy on iOS saw notable trends among the leading applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, while revenue figures were not reported for this period.
Glovo: Food Delivery, Takeaway saw a fluctuating download trend, peaking at around 26.6K in the last week of December. Its weekly active users displayed an upward trend, rising from approximately 647K at the start of the quarter to 737K by the end.
Deliveroo: Food & Shopping experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching 21.7K in the final week. Active users showed some fluctuations, starting at 677K and closing the quarter at 687K.
Just Eat - Food Delivery also saw a rise in downloads, culminating at around 20.7K in December's last week. Its active user base remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at approximately 265K.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste had a decline in downloads, dropping to about 9.6K by quarter's end. The active user numbers reflected a similar trend, decreasing from 499K to 423K.
Finally, Breasy experienced a downward trend in downloads, with a notable drop to 705 by the last week of December. Its active users remained fairly constant, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at around 20K.
