In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Peru exhibited varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery observed fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 55.7K and peaking at 70K by the end of October. Active users increased steadily from 857K to over 1.2M during the quarter.
inDrive. Save on city rides showed consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 45K to 62K. Active users rose from approximately 2.8M at the start of the quarter to a peak of 3.6M in mid-December before slightly declining.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting at 15.8K and ending the quarter at 10.6K. However, active users increased from 1M to over 1.2M by mid-December.
Uber - Request a ride maintained stable downloads, with numbers ranging from 13K to 19K. Active users also showed an upward trend, growing from 1M to a peak of 1.2M in mid-December.
Cabify had more modest download numbers, starting at 7.4K and peaking at 10K in late October. Active users increased from 447K to 596K before declining at the end of the quarter.
