The fourth quarter of 2024 saw varied performance among the leading delivered meal kits and specialty foods apps in Sweden. Here's a closer look at the trends from the top five applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery experienced a significant decline in weekly downloads, starting from 2.5K in early October and dropping to just over 500 by mid-December, before a slight recovery to 1.7K by the year's end. Weekly active users also showed a downward trend, decreasing from 34.4K at the start of the quarter to around 22K by the end.
For Vivino: Drink The Right Wine, weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at $3.9K in late November. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a notable increase in late December reaching 1.5K. Active users consistently grew, starting at 16.6K and finishing the quarter at approximately 30.3K.
Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery saw growth in weekly downloads, increasing from 367 in early October to 520 by the end of December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, rising from 1.3K to 2.2K during the same period.
Linas Matkasse showed minimal fluctuations in downloads, maintaining a low range throughout the quarter. However, there was a slight increase towards the end of December, reaching 236 downloads.
Lastly, CrowdFarming experienced a moderate number of downloads, peaking at 234 in mid-November. Active users remained fairly stable, with minor declines towards the end of the year, ending at 1.4K.
