The fourth quarter of 2024 saw various trends in the performance of the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on a unified platform in Sweden. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends, focusing on downloads and active user metrics.
McDonald’s experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 7K and peaking at over 10K in early December. Active users showed a significant increase, reaching a high of approximately 268K mid-December, before dropping to around 217K by the end of the quarter.
For Max Express, downloads peaked at 8.7K in mid-October but declined towards the end of the year, settling at about 4.7K. Active users saw a steady rise, finishing the quarter strong with over 153K.
KFC Sweden showed a varied pattern in downloads, with a noticeable peak of approximately 6K in mid-November. Active users increased steadily, reaching over 20K by the end of December.
Espresso House had a decline in downloads from around 4.6K to just over 2K by the end of the quarter. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, peaking at about 108K in mid-November before ending the year with approximately 88K.
Lastly, Burger King Sverige maintained a consistent download trend, though numbers decreased from 4.9K in late October to around 2.5K by December's end. Active users showed a slight decline, with numbers fluctuating around 23K to 24K.
