In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top Food and Drink applications in Switzerland showed varied performance trends across the board. Here's a closer look at how each app fared based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s saw its weekly downloads begin at 6.3K, with a slight dip mid-quarter, before peaking at approximately 9K in the week of December 9. Active users fluctuated, starting at around 238K, dipping, and then rising again to over 244K by mid-December.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 6.6K at the quarter's start to about 3.1K by the end. Active users also saw a drop from over 304K to 229K, with some fluctuations throughout the period.
Just-Eat.ch started with downloads around 5.3K, dipping mid-quarter, and then rising to 6.5K by the end. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 191K initially to 183K, with minor fluctuations.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries had a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 4.5K and reaching 6.6K by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 120K to 134K throughout the quarter.
le menu, a newer entrant, showed an interesting trend with downloads peaking at over 10K in late October before dropping to 467 by the end of December. Revenue showed a sporadic increase, peaking at $386 in late October.
