In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top food delivery services in Mexico showed varied performance metrics on a unified platform. Here's a closer look at how each app fared:
DiDi Food - Food Delivery saw a consistent level of weekly downloads, peaking at around 108K in the last week of December. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 3.8M and closing the quarter at 4M.
Rappi - Deliveries in Minutes experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, with a high of approximately 99K in late December. Active users saw a gradual decline from 5.7M to 4.9M over the quarter.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries had a steady rise in downloads, reaching up to 109K in the final week. Active users hovered around 4.8M, peaking at 5M mid-December.
Modelorama Now showed a significant increase in downloads mid-quarter, with numbers peaking at 64K in November. Active users remained stable around 260K throughout the period.
Juntos+ experienced a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 15K in early October to about 6K by the end of December. Active users, however, stayed relatively constant, averaging around 140K.
