In the fourth quarter of 2024, the food delivery app landscape in Uruguay exhibited notable trends across various metrics. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, provides insights into the performance of the top five food delivery services on a unified platform.
PedidosYa - Delivery App saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at around 5.7K in early December. Despite this, active users showed a slight decline from approximately 228K to 191K over the quarter.
Rappi - Deliveries in Minutes experienced modest download numbers, with a slight increase towards the end of December, reaching 425. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 5.5K and 6.5K.
Super En Casa maintained a consistent download trend, with a gradual increase towards the end of the quarter, culminating at 348 downloads in the final week of December.
Zepto:10 Min Grocery Delivery* showed a steady rise in downloads, ending the quarter at 340. Active users similarly increased, starting at 152 and growing to over 1K by the end of December.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries had a consistent download pattern, with numbers hovering around 200 weekly. Active users remained stable throughout the quarter, ranging from 11K to 13K.
