In the final quarter of 2024, the top insurance applications in Oceania demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active users on a unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.
myBupa from Bupa Australia Health Pty Ltd saw weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 11K and dropping to approximately 8.8K by the end of December. Its active users showed a decline from 227K in early October to 205K by the end of the quarter.
The AAMI App maintained a relatively stable download rate, peaking at nearly 6K in early December. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 160K throughout the quarter.
My Medibank experienced a gradual increase in downloads, reaching a high of 5.8K in mid-December. However, active users declined from 176K in October to 129K by the quarter's end.
NRMA Insurance downloads peaked at over 6K in late November before dropping to around 3.5K by year-end. Active users showed a slight increase, ending the quarter at approximately 23.6K.
Lastly, the HCF My Membership App exhibited growth in downloads, reaching over 4.2K in late November. Active users increased from 16.9K to 18.9K by the end of December.
