In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Maps and Navigation category in Saudi Arabia saw significant activity across the top apps on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android. Here’s a look at the performance of the leading apps, based on insights from Sensor Tower.
Tawuniya Drive experienced a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads peaking at 181K in mid-November. Active users showed an upward trend, reaching their highest at 319K in late November before declining towards the end of the year.
Uber - Request a Ride maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 28K to 44K. The app’s active users remained robust, peaking at 1.3M in late December.
Jeeny - Book Affordable Rides saw consistent weekly downloads, varying from 20K to 31K. The active user base showed a slight decline mid-quarter but rebounded to 537K by the end of December.
Phone Tracker and GPS Location had a modest performance, with weekly downloads ranging from 5.7K to 16K. Active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 143K in early November.
Lastly, Bolt: Request a Ride demonstrated consistent download numbers, with a high of 30K in late December. Active users increased steadily, reaching 648K at the start of December.
