The fourth quarter of 2024 witnessed notable trends in the performance of the top medical apps in the Netherlands, based on data from Sensor Tower. Below, we explore the download and active user statistics for each app during this period.
BeterDichtbij maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads showing a peak in early December at approximately 10.8K, before experiencing a decline towards the end of the month, closing at around 6.8K. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, starting at about 85.6K and ending the quarter at around 64.4K.
MedGemak+ had a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 11.4K in the week of December 16. Active users displayed a similar upward trend, reaching 240.2K in the same week, before slightly declining to 193.8K by the end of December.
Mijn BENU saw a significant spike in downloads mid-December, climbing to 22.5K. This surge was followed by a rapid decrease, ending the quarter at 7.5K.
Service Apotheek exhibited a steady download rate with a peak of 5.7K in mid-December. The app's active users grew from approximately 34.4K to 31.4K over the quarter, showing a slight decline.
Uw Zorg online maintained stable download numbers throughout the quarter, peaking at 4.9K in mid-November. The active users remained consistent, hovering around 66K, with minor fluctuations.
