In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top personal finance applications in the United States continued to show impressive performance on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android. Below is a detailed analysis of each app's metrics, sourced from Sensor Tower.
EveryDollar: Budget Management from The Lampo Group Incorporated experienced fluctuations in revenue, starting strong with $333K in late September and peaking again at $278K in early November. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with a notable increase to 75.7K in the last week of December. Active users saw a steady rise, reaching over 1.1M by the end of the quarter.
Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets showed a dynamic trend with revenue peaking at $237K initially and settling around $137K by the end of December. Downloads surged significantly in the final week, hitting 524K. Active users also increased, culminating in nearly 4.9M at year’s end.
YNAB from You Need A Budget LLC saw revenue fluctuations, with an early peak of $137K in late October. Downloads grew steadily, culminating in 37.4K in the last week. Active user numbers climbed, reaching over 811K by the quarter's close.
Copilot: Track & Budget Money by Copilot Money, Inc. experienced an increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, peaking at $107K in early December. Downloads and active users showed a positive trend, with active users reaching 76.5K by the end of December.
