In the fourth quarter of 2024, the personal finance app market in Switzerland saw varied performances across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Splitwise showed a fluctuating weekly revenue pattern, beginning at approximately $1.4K and ending the quarter at a similar level. Downloads decreased initially, reaching a low of 1.0K in mid-November before rising to over 2.3K by the end of December. Active users started at around 56.5K and saw a decline, closing at 49.9K.
Splid – Split group bills experienced a steady decline in weekly revenue, starting at $428 and dropping to $211 by mid-December, before a slight recovery to $352. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, bottoming at 330 in early December, then rebounding to 1.1K. Active users fluctuated but ultimately increased from 10.9K to 11.9K.
BudgetCH saw a gradual increase in revenue, peaking at $310 in late December. Downloads were inconsistent, starting at 309, peaking at 659 in early December, and ending at 366.
Money Manager Expense & Budget had a modest revenue increase, closing the quarter at $513. Downloads varied, beginning at 319, dipping to 100 in early December, and recovering to 468. Active users increased slightly from 6.0K to 6.2K over the quarter.
Money manager, expense tracker showed an upward trend in revenue, ending at $383. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 308, dipping to 157, and finishing at 393. Active users decreased from 2.8K to 1.9K.
