The fourth quarter of 2024 saw notable trends in the personal finance app sector in Germany. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Finanzguru - Konten & Verträge from dwins GmbH experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue started at approximately $173K, dipping to $134K mid-quarter, before peaking at $202K by the end of December. Downloads began at 32.8K, reaching a high of 56.7K in the last week. Active users fluctuated, starting at 1.29M, decreasing slightly, then climbing to 1.44M.
Finanzfluss Copilot, launched by Finflow GmbH, showed a modest revenue increase, starting at $776 and closing at $965. Downloads saw a sharp decline from 101.7K to 7.9K by the quarter's end. Active users began at 70.4K, with a slight rise to 55.3K.
Splitwise maintained stable revenue, fluctuating between $1.8K and $3.6K. Downloads began at 22.1K, dipped mid-quarter, and recovered to 23.6K. Active users started at 857.6K, dropping to 620K, before rebounding to 845K.
Splid – Split group bills showed consistent revenue figures, ranging from $584 to $945. Downloads decreased from 12.9K to a low of 5.5K, then rose to 14.3K. Active users began at 328.5K, experienced a dip, then ended at 329K.
Money Manager Expense & Budget from Realbyte Inc. saw revenue growth from $499 to $846. Downloads were relatively stable, with a notable increase to 7.1K in the final week. Active users showed minor fluctuations, starting and ending the quarter around 215K.
