State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the personal finance app market in Sweden demonstrated varied performance across the top five applications. Leveraging data from Sensor Tower, we explore the trends in downloads, revenue, and active users for these apps.
Splitwise saw fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $613 in the week of October 28. The app's downloads initially declined but surged to approximately 2.7K in the last week of December. Active users showed a general decline, starting from about 52.3K and ending at 39.1K by the quarter's close.
Dreams - Spara till drömmar maintained stable active user growth, rising from 12.3K to 15.2K over the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable increase to 1.5K in late October.
Optius.app: Budget & Penge experienced a varied download pattern, with a significant spike to 1.8K in late November before settling at around 1.5K by the end of December.
WhatIBuy downloads peaked significantly at 2.1K in early November but tapered off to 239 by the end of the year.
Spiris Scanner showed a steady download rate, with a minor peak of 545 in early November before declining towards the end of the quarter.
