In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top real-time strategy apps in the United States showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's an overview of how these apps fared based on data from Sensor Tower.
Clash Royale from Supercell experienced notable fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $2.6M in early October and maintaining figures above $1.1M throughout the quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a noticeable increase to 79.9K in the week of December 23. Weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 5.8M to just under 5M by the end of December.
The Battle Cats by ponos corporation observed a decrease in weekly revenue over the quarter, starting at $478K and dropping to $230K by the end. Downloads also declined, beginning at 35K and ending at 17K. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 831K to around 470K.
Voodoo's Mob Control demonstrated a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching $332K at the end of the quarter. Downloads showed a significant rise, peaking at 171.5K in late December. Active users fluctuated but remained above 836K towards the end.
Tower War - Tactical Conquest from SayGames LTD had a moderate increase in revenue, ending the quarter at $207K. Downloads saw a rise in late December, reaching 119K. Active users also increased, peaking at 513K in the final week.
Warcraft Rumble by Blizzard Entertainment, although having lower download numbers, saw steady revenue, with a peak of $163K in late December. Active users remained consistent around 96K by the end of the quarter.
