In the first quarter of 2025, the anime gaming landscape in Romania saw significant activity among the top five games on Android. Here's a detailed look at their performance, as captured by Sensor Tower.
DRAGON BALL LEGENDS from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. showcased a fluctuating revenue pattern. The game started the quarter with a peak revenue of approximately $6.2K, but experienced a decline, reaching around $975 in late January. However, it recovered slightly by the end of March, with revenue around $2.5K. Weekly downloads hovered between 190 and 320, peaking in early March. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 3.9K and 4.4K throughout the quarter.
Solo Leveling: Arise, published by Netmarble, demonstrated a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.9K in mid-February. Download numbers showed a notable surge, especially in March, reaching over 1K weekly. The game maintained a strong user base, with active users climbing from 18.4K to around 21.9K by mid-March.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE also by Bandai Namco, showed a sporadic revenue trend, with a significant spike to $3.6K in late January. Downloads were minimal, with a brief increase to 528 in mid-February. Active users saw a gradual increase, peaking at 766 during the same period.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links from KONAMI experienced stable revenue, mostly under $500, with a slight peak of $659 in mid-February. Downloads and active users remained low, with downloads peaking at 60 and active users around 130.
Lastly, The Seven Deadly Sins from Netmarble showed modest revenue figures, peaking at $964 at the start of the quarter. Downloads were sparse, with a slight peak of 24 in late February. Active user numbers remained steady, fluctuating around 110 throughout the quarter.
