In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Finland showcased diverse trends. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps based on Sensor Tower data.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a consistent download pattern, with numbers hovering between 2K and 2.4K weekly. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around the 22K mark throughout the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K in early January and reaching over 1.4K by the end of March. The app also experienced a steady rise in active users, peaking at approximately 55K in the final week.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery had a modest download rate, starting at 294 and ending at 252 weekly. Active users decreased slightly over the quarter, from 688 to around 617.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a stable trend in active users, increasing to about 1.9K by the end of March. Weekly downloads varied slightly, concluding the quarter with 198.
inDrive - Book a Safe Car Ride experienced fluctuating download numbers, starting at 217 and dropping to 98 by the end of March. Active users saw minor changes, ending the quarter at 591.
