In the first quarter of 2025, the top casual games on Android in Germany showcased varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here's a breakdown of the top performers based on data from Sensor Tower.
Subway Surfers by SYBO Games maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 35K at the start of the quarter. Revenue saw fluctuations, reaching a high of approximately $4K in mid-February. Active users varied, starting from 734K, dipping to 605K, and closing the quarter at 668K.
Domino Dreams™ from SuperPlay experienced a declining trend in downloads from 62K to 10K. However, it sustained a strong weekly revenue, peaking at $188K in late February. Active users began at 88K, peaked at 133K, and ended at 76K.
Township by Playrix showed stability in revenue, with highs of around $336K in March. Downloads decreased from 35K to 16K over the quarter. Active user numbers were solid, moving from 359K to a peak of 433K in February.
Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story by Microfun Limited had a steady revenue increase, reaching $365K mid-March. Downloads saw a decline from 32K to 11K. Active users displayed a gradual decrease from 152K to 158K.
Royal Match from Dream Games, Ltd. led in revenue, starting at $1.3M and maintaining over $1M throughout. Downloads decreased from 24K to 17K, while active users remained robust, peaking at over 1M in late March.
