In the first quarter of 2025, Lithuania's Android platform saw significant activity among the top communication apps. According to Sensor Tower data, here are the highlights for the top five apps.
WhatsApp Messenger maintained a steady download rate, peaking at 5K downloads in the week of March 10. Active users fluctuated slightly, beginning the quarter at 483K and ending at 422K.
Telegram experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $3.8K in early February. Downloads peaked at 4.6K in late March, and active users showed a stable trend, closing the quarter with 364K.
Messenger had a relatively stable user base, with active users hovering around 650K throughout the quarter. Downloads decreased over the quarter, starting at 2.7K and ending at 1.7K.
Rakuten Viber Messenger saw a consistent revenue stream, averaging around $350 weekly. Active users remained steady, ending the quarter at approximately 409K.
Snapchat showed a consistent revenue increase, peaking at $1.9K in late February. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 2K in the final week of March, while active users saw a slight decline from 132K to 123K.
