In the first quarter of 2025, France's top five dating apps on the Android platform showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides a closer look at each app's trends.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date started the quarter with a weekly revenue of around $213K, gradually increasing to approximately $273K by the end of March. Weekly downloads saw a peak of 15K in late February, while active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at about 668K.
Meetic - Amour et Rencontre experienced steady revenue growth, starting at $113K and peaking at $137K in early March. Downloads decreased gradually, while weekly active users showed an overall increase, reaching around 341K by the quarter's end.
Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date maintained a stable revenue, hovering around $100K, with a slight peak of $115K in mid-March. Downloads decreased over the quarter, while active users showed a decline, ending at approximately 232K.
adopte - app de rencontre saw consistent revenue, increasing from $85K to around $89K. Downloads remained relatively low but spiked to 5.2K in late March. Active users experienced fluctuations but ended with a slight increase, reaching about 89K.
happn: dating app had a steady revenue increase from $68K to $75K. Downloads showed a healthy increase, peaking at 14K in mid-February. Active users also grew, reaching approximately 360K by the end of March.
