2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the fast food and fast casual restaurant app market in Spain showed varied performance trends on the Android platform. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we examine the top five apps: McDonald's, KFC España, BURGER KING® España, Telepizza Comida a Domicilio, and Domino’s Pizza España.
McDonald's saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 23.9K in late January and closing the quarter with around 22.2K. Active users remained strong, with numbers ranging from 711K to over 897K.
KFC España experienced a significant spike in downloads mid-January, reaching 41.9K. Active users also surged during this period, peaking at 331K, before stabilizing at around 225K by the end of March.
BURGER KING® España maintained a consistent download trend, with numbers oscillating between 11.1K and 19.9K. Active user engagement was steady, closing the quarter with approximately 669K users.
Telepizza Comida a Domicilio showed a gradual decline in downloads, starting from 11.3K in early January to about 5.3K by March's end. Active users, however, saw a peak of 101K in mid-March.
Finally, Domino’s Pizza España had a stable download rate, with weekly downloads hovering around 6.1K. Active users remained fairly constant, ranging from 111K to 134K throughout the quarter.
