During the first quarter of 2025, the performance of fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the Android platform in the United States exhibited diverse trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads and active user engagement.
McDonald's saw its weekly downloads peak at approximately 161K by the end of March, with a generally stable trend throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users increased steadily, reaching over 10M by the last week of March.
For Domino's Pizza USA, weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 89K mid-January before declining to about 55K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a strong weekly active user base, growing from 1.6M to over 1.8M.
Taco Bell Fast Food & Delivery experienced a dip in weekly downloads, starting at 85K and falling to around 57K. However, its weekly active users increased, reaching over 2.3M by the end of March.
Starbucks had a decline in downloads, starting at 62K and dropping to approximately 39K by the end of the quarter. Despite this, its weekly active users remained robust, peaking at over 5.5M mid-February.
The BURGER KING® App displayed a steady pattern of downloads, averaging around 50K weekly. Active users also showed stability, fluctuating around 1M throughout the quarter.
