In the first quarter of 2025, the landscape of food delivery services on Android in Costa Rica showcased diverse trends across the top applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps exhibited varying patterns in weekly downloads and active users.

PedidosYa - Delivery Online saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting with around 6K and experiencing a dip to 3.7K in mid-March, before closing the quarter at approximately 4.9K. Active users initially declined from 113K to a low of 92K in early February, but then rebounded, ending the quarter at around 103K.

Blinkit: Grocery in 10 minutes had a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 11.7K in early March. Active users mirrored this growth, rising from 2.2K at the start of the quarter to about 14.1K by the end.

Zepto:10-Min Grocery Delivery* experienced a varied download pattern, with a high of 4.8K in early March. Active users increased steadily, reaching over 12.5K by the end of March.

Uber Eats: Food and Grocery maintained consistent weekly downloads ranging from 2.1K to 2.8K. Active users showed an upward trend, peaking at 239K in late March.

Lastly, DiDi Food: Express Delivery saw stable weekly downloads around 1.4K. Active users increased steadily, finishing the quarter at approximately 76K.
