In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of food delivery applications on the Android platform in the United Kingdom showcased diverse trends among the top five contenders. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps exhibited varying patterns in downloads and active user engagement.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw a noticeable uptick in weekly downloads, peaking at around 51.5K in late January. Despite fluctuations, active users remained robust, reaching approximately 1.2M by mid-March.
Uber Eats: Food and Grocery maintained a steady download rate, with numbers hovering around 28K in early February. Active user engagement fluctuated slightly, stabilizing at around 1.7M by the end of the quarter.
Just Eat - Food Delivery experienced consistent download activity, with a peak of approximately 26.9K in late January. Active users showed resilience, with numbers around 1.3M at the quarter's peak.
Deliveroo: Food & Shopping demonstrated a steady increase in downloads, reaching about 15.6K in early February. Active user numbers were strong, peaking at approximately 1.6M in February.
Finally, Glovo: Food & Grocery Delivery exhibited more modest download numbers, peaking at 6.5K in early February. However, active users showed a gradual increase, finishing the quarter at about 47K.
