In the first quarter of 2025, the UK witnessed notable trends among the top free-to-play games on the Android platform. Here’s a closer look at how these games performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Block Blast! saw its weekly downloads begin at 104K, experiencing a gradual decline to around 41K by the end of March. The game maintained a strong active user base, starting at 1.28M and ending the quarter with approximately 1.05M users.
Roblox had an impressive start with weekly revenue peaking at $823K, before stabilizing around $300K for the rest of the quarter. Downloads decreased from 55K to about 25K, while active users fluctuated, ending at approximately 1.78M.
Vita Mahjong experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching around $794 in late February. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at 41K, and active users grew from 201K to 269K.
Snake Clash! showed consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $617. Downloads started at 38K, dropping to 22K by the quarter’s end, while active users increased to 163K in March.
Finally, Color Block Jam demonstrated significant growth in both revenue and user engagement. Weekly revenue surged from $193 to $69K, with active users increasing from 242 to over 104K by the end of the quarter.
