In the first quarter of 2025, the top idler games on the Android platform in Europe demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed overview of these trends.
Gold & Goblins: Idle Merger from AppQuantum saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $172K in mid-February. The app's downloads started strong with 128K in early January but gradually decreased to 48K by the end of March. Active users showed a similar decline, starting at 366K and closing the quarter with 281K.
Idle Zombie Miner: Gold Tycoon by Royal Ark experienced a steady increase in revenue, reaching $114K in early March. Downloads declined from 200K in the first week of January to 57K at the end of March. Active users followed a downward trend, starting from 334K and ending at 224K.
Idle Lumber Empire: Tycoon Inc also from AppQuantum, observed a decline in revenue over the quarter, from $79K to $47K. Downloads saw a peak of 80K in early March, while active users increased to 154K in the same period before dropping to 120K by quarter's end.
Carnival Tycoon: Idle Games from Wild Candle Spin LLC maintained a steady revenue, peaking at $99K in late February. Downloads decreased from 86K to 39K, while active users grew from 196K to 233K by the end of March.
The Tower - Idle Tower Defense by Tech Tree Games showed a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $76K by the quarter's end. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 7K weekly. Active users decreased slightly from 22K to 19K during the quarter.
