In the first quarter of 2025, several investing and financial management apps on the Android platform in Brazil showcased varying performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps, highlighting their weekly downloads and active user metrics as reported by Sensor Tower.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a noticeable decline in weekly downloads, starting from over 104K at the beginning of the quarter and dropping to around 23K by the end of March. Despite this, the app maintained a robust weekly active user base, peaking at over 2.2M in mid-January before settling at approximately 1.5M by the end of the quarter.
World App - Worldcoin Wallet saw a significant drop in downloads, from over 237K in early January to about 2.7K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users also followed a downward trend, decreasing from 847K to around 362K over the quarter.
Tuca Trade-Enjoy invest showed fluctuating download numbers, with a notable peak of 121K downloads in mid-March, followed by a decrease to 32K by the end of the month. The app's active user count rose to a high of 274K in early March before dropping to 173K by the quarter’s close.
Coinbase: Buy BTC, ETH, SOL maintained a relatively stable user base, with downloads starting at 80K and ending at approximately 18K. Weekly active users varied slightly, reaching a high of 506K in January and ending at 343K in March.
Lastly, XP Investimentos showed consistent download activity, with numbers rising from 23K to over 32K by mid-March. The app's active users remained strong, increasing from 2.1M at the start to 2.2M by the end of the quarter.
